ITE commitment a plus for ZZICEC

HONG KONG International Trade and Exhibitions (ITE) Group, the international exhibition organiser, is the latest company indicating a long-term interest in the Zhengzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC).

ITE said it will use the ZZICEC for up to six major exhibitions over the next three years. A formal announcement was made by Venue Management Zhengzhou Ltd (VMZL) chairman Cliff Wallace, and vice-chairman, Hugh Scrimgeour, during the annual General assembly of UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry. ITE executive director Edward Strachan said: "My staff have seen very clearly during their visits to Zhengzhou that ZZICEC offers excellent business potential. "With the Bureau of Commerce and VMZL we will research various business sectors in Henan and determine the best way to proceed with developing new exhibitions that will be held annually in Zhengzhou." Wallace added: "It is extremely encouraging to see that Zhengzhou's unique exhibition market has generated so much interest from ITE. This is an enormous credit to the quality of ZZICEC."
