IT&CMA opens in Pattaya to showcase industry benefits

PATTAYA Eastern Thailand's coastal resort of Pattaya is to host corporate travel shows IT&CMA and CTW 2005 from October 11to 13.

According to organiser TTG Asia, the largest country pavilion at this year's IT&CMA trade show will belong to the host country Thailand, totalling 252 sqm. Taiwan, which has been actively promoting its domestic CEI industry, has doubled its country pavilion size from last year's show in Bangkok. Hong Kong, with its new tourism campaign '2006 Discover Hong Kong Year' and the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, has increased its pavilion to create a bigger presence in the exhibition. Newcomer Cambodia is making its debut at IT&CMAthis year. The opening ceremony and dinner of IT&CMA and CTW 2005 will be hosted by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). The dinner is set in Alangkarn, a Thai modern- style venue comprising a 2,000-seat theatre complete with pyrotechnic facilities and interactive presentations. The popular 'Sundowner Cocktail' concept is planned for the first time at the show and will be hosted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
