IT&CMA on target for show in Pattaya

PATTAYA The ninth annual edition of IT&CMA, Asia's main meetings and incentive show will open on October 10-12 in the Thai beach resort of Pattaya and is expected to attract over 1,500 buyers, delegates and visitors.

The show at Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) will again be held concurrently with Corporate Travel World, aimed at corporate travel managers, procurement executives, travel agencies, suppliers and others involved in corporate travel management and entertainment. IT&CMA will be running a number of workshops addressing industry issues. Seminar topics will include 'Conventions and Casinos: Strange Bedfellows or Dream Marriage?'; 'Increasing ROI for Meetings and Events:Getting It Right'; and 'Towards Responsible Incentives: The Top Line'. This year a number of regional familiarisation trips are available to accredited buyers. Destinations include Cambodia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, as well as Thai destinations such as Krabi, Phuket, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. A number of new exhibitors from China will be present including the meetings and incentives arm of major destination management company CYTS. The show is supported by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Thailand Incentives and Convention Association, and Thai Airways. IT&CMA and CTW will return to Bangkok in 2007.
