SINGAPORE - Iris Singapore has named James Robbins (pictured) to the newly created post of digital director.

Robbins, who was most recently the associate account director at Arc Worldwide Singapore, is charged with developing digital strategy for Iris and its clients.

Robbins has been in the industry for more than 10 years and, at Arc Worldwide, piloted the agency’s HP account in Asia-Pacific and Japan.

According to Richard Bleasdale, regional CEO of Iris Singapore, the hire is an attempt to strengthen the agency’s ties to digital. "Our focus is to get Iris Digital on the Singapore map and into the minds of our existing and prospective clients,” he said. "The goal is to be ranked as one of the leading digital agencies in Singapore and the region within the next two years, and James' appointment marks the next big step in our efforts to attract best talent in the industry."
