IPG restructures Greater China PR

IPG public relations firms Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris have unveiled a raft of senior management changes to their Greater China operations. <BR><BR> Weber Shandwick Beijing MD David Liu has been promoted to managing director China - effective from 1 October - overseeing the firm's Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou operations. Meanwhile Darren Burns, currently heading GolinHarris Taiwan, joins Weber Shandwick China as managing director, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Wei Hsiang from Ketchum Newscan Taiwan has shifted to Weber Shandwick to replace Burns, who will still have a supervisory role for Taiwan. <BR><BR> On the GolinHarris side, Hong Kong MD John Morgan (pictured) will take on a new role as regional MD, Greater China, while Lydia Lee becomes director of Shanghai and Guangzhou, along with Nikki Lin, who both succeed the departing Diane Wu. In Taiwan, Stanley Liu has been named general manager, forming part of the senior management team replacing Burns.
