IPG completes Lintas India buyout

MUMBAI - The Indian shareholders of Lintas India have agreed to sell their 51 per cent stake in the advertising agency to their international partner, the Interpublic Group (IPG), which currently holds the other 49 per cent.

According to Prem Mehta, CMD, Lintas India, both parties have reached a mutual agreement and the case is awaiting a FIPB nod. Though no official comments are available, the deal is said to be worth US$100 million.
