Ion Orchard searches for creative partner

SINGAPORE - Ion Orchard, the first shopping centre to be built in Singapore's elite shopping district for a decade, is looking for a creative agency.

Orchard Turn, the company managing the megamall, will call for presentations in late September. The winning agency is expected to refine the branding of the property, as well as conceptualise through-the-line creative materials targeting potential retailers and consumers. In addition, the agency will manage in-house publications such as a coffee-table book, seasonal look books and a quarterly mall magazine.

The contract will last a year, with Orchard Turn having the option to renew it for another year.

According to an Orchard Turn spokesperson, the pitch was called after its four-month contract with boutique agency 10AM Communications lapsed. Currently, the local shop holds the creative account for residential component, Orchard Residences (Media, 10 August), and has been invited to the pitch.

ION Orchard is part of a retail-cum-residential development located at the heart of Orchard Road. It is jointly owned by CapitaLand and Hong Kong’s Sun Hung Kai Properties.
