INTERNET: TSK&F sets up medical site for China

<p>Tianjin SmithKline & French Laboratories (TSK&F) has become the </p><p>first company to provide medical information to the Chinese public over </p><p>the Internet, with the launch of its new "Dr SKF Online" website </p><p>(www.drskf.com.cn). </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The interactive consumer education centre allows visitors to browse </p><p>information on general health and self-medication management across key </p><p>health categories. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The website was launched in response to recent reforms in China's </p><p>medical system that place greater responsibility on individuals to </p><p>manage their own healthcare. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>When addressing more common ailments, "Dr SKF Online" takes a fun, </p><p>consumer-friendly approach to educating the public through games and </p><p>quizzes. Winners are entitled to prizes and animated screensaves, which </p><p>may be downloaded free of charge. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Grey Interactive and Grey Healthcare developed and wrote the content, </p><p>while Grey Advertising provided overall account management services. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Grey China & Hong Kong CEO Viveca Chan said building healthcare brands </p><p>on the Internet would be a major focus for the agency this year and </p><p>beyond. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
