INTERNATIONAL: Euro RSCG wins US$40m VO5 account

<p>Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has been handed Alberto Culver's US$40 </p><p>million international account for the haircare brand VO5 without a </p><p>pitch. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The decision to move agencies in the UK comes just four months after M&C </p><p>Saatchi was appointed to the business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>This latest change in agency is the result of a new globalisation </p><p>strategy, according to Mr Barton Warner, vice-president of international </p><p>marketing at Alberto Culver. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The move follows last month's appointment of Euro RSCG Tatham of Chicago </p><p>to handle the VO5 brand across Canada and the US. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper will create the advertising for the rest of the </p><p>world. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The media account, held by Carat, is not thought to be affected by the </p><p>changes. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Mark Wnek, executive creative director at Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper, </p><p>said: "It's very exciting to win our biggest ever piece of business. </p><p>It's wonderful for the London office to be handling a product sold in </p><p>over 120 countries around the world." </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
