Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper has been handed Alberto Culver's US$40

million international account for the haircare brand VO5 without a

pitch.

The decision to move agencies in the UK comes just four months after M&C

Saatchi was appointed to the business.

This latest change in agency is the result of a new globalisation

strategy, according to Mr Barton Warner, vice-president of international

marketing at Alberto Culver.

The move follows last month's appointment of Euro RSCG Tatham of Chicago

to handle the VO5 brand across Canada and the US.

Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper will create the advertising for the rest of the

world.

The media account, held by Carat, is not thought to be affected by the

changes.

Mr Mark Wnek, executive creative director at Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper,

said: "It's very exciting to win our biggest ever piece of business.

It's wonderful for the London office to be handling a product sold in

over 120 countries around the world."
