Headed by Synergy’s general manager Francis Fong Po Kiu as chairman, the HKAIM is focused on identifying standards and regulations within the digital marketing space in Hong Kong, liaising with the Hong Kong and China governments on industry-related issues, promoting the value and success of the discipline to the wider community and serving as a platform for industry professionals.
Pixel Media’s Kevin Huang, who has been named vice-chairman, said: “It will be different from the Asia Digital Marketing Association because it will be Hong Kong focused. We’ll be pushing the government to take part in initiatives, and we’ll be pushing with the education sector, because we to position the industry as an exciting industry for young talent to enter.”
