Intel review moves into second round

Interpublic, Omnicom and WPP agencies are set to take part in the second stage of Intel's US$300 million global account review, before the final pitch in the US on February 23. Hong Kong is the venue for the Asia-Pacific segment of the review, with concurrent meetings taking place in Intel's four other regional markets - North America, Europe, South America and Japan. DDB will reportedly square off against McCann Erickson and a WPP combination that includes Y&R, Red Cell (global creative) and J. Walter Thompson (Greater China). Media agencies involved are OMD, Universal McCann and Group M.
