Initiative plugs ads in Shanghai Metro

JCDecaux China has joined up with Shanghai Metro and JWT in an initiative to promote the new types of advertising media available on the train line.

The 'Shanghai Metro Journey of Innovation' at Shanghai Stadium Station has 11 'Power Zones' deploying technologies and media such as Bluetooth, interactive multimedia, window displays and products.

The one-month promotion features JWT clients Lipton, Ford and DTC. "We intend to implement this at 95 stations in the Shanghai Metro, which has a daily passenger flow of three million," said Tina Li, corporate comms director, JCDecaux China.
