Initiative lures Blakeman back to Asia-Pacific
Initiative has bolstered its planning capability in Asia-Pacific with the return of Steve Blakeman to the network. <BR><BR> Blakeman (pictured) rejoins the Interpublic media buyer from PHD in the UK, where he spent a three-year stint running PHD North in his Manchester hometown, to assume the newly created role of channel strategy director. Based in Singapore, Blakeman's brief is to improve Initiative's planning offering across the region and in key local markets. <BR><BR> He will work alongside Ian Gee, Initiative's brand strategy director recruited last year, to develop the agency's integrated communications positioning.
