Targeting high-level executives, Power will analyse global economic and business trends while also providing information on fashion, travel, fine dining, and health.
Editor Anthony Spaeth (pictured) explained that the magazine would focus as much on the people as their money or businesses.
According to Anne Lim-Chaplain, Infinity Media’s managing director and associate publisher, the magazine was conceived owing to requests from banking professionals for a lifestyle magazine aimed at the business sector and from advertisers for a new platform from which to target the high-end business sector.
Upon its debut in October, the title will have a print run of 30,000 copies. Lim-Chaplain noted that, following a similar model to Prestige, a Hong Kong luxury lifestyle title also published by Infinity, Power would also be available in certain five-star hotel rooms and major Asian airlines, although she did not disclose details.
She added that the company planned to use Hong Kong as a base from which to expand the magazine’s distribution into China and other Asian markets.
