Industry Craft winners at Cannes Lions 2018: Ogilvy HK and KFC win more golds

Ogilvy Hong Kong triumphs again, winning 4 Lions for the 'Birdland' series for KFC in the Industry Craft category.

The one Grand Prix for Industry Craft was awarded to Ogilvy Chicago for their 'Ali' campaign for SC Johnson. 

Industry Craft also saw 5 Gold, 13 Silver and 28 Bronze Lions being handed out at Cannes. 

APAC took home a good haul of 15 Lions, including two of the Gold Lions, both of which went to Ogilvy Hong Kong for the 'Dragster', 'Shuttle', 'Heroes' KFC Birdland series for KFC. This is a campaign that's been highly awarded in the Print & Publishing and Outdoor categories as well: it took home two Silver Lions in the Industry Craft category too. We reviewed this ad when it first came out in April. 

The other Silver Lions for APAC went to: 

  • Sha Inc. Tokyo for the 'Uncontrolled Types by Plotter Drawing' campaign for Sha Inc. 
  • Dentsu Inc. Tokyo for the 'Eating Kabuki With Your Fingers' campaign for Shochiku Co.
  • TBWA\Thailand for the 'Morning Shift', 'Rooftop Soccer', 'The Meeting', 'Designer', 'Graffiti' series for McDonald's

The 8 Bronze Lions for Industry Craft went to: 

  • Dentsu Inc. Tokyo for the '82 Techniques' campaign for Hokkoko Shimbun
  • TBWA\Thailand for the 'The Meeting' campaign for McDonald's
  • Amber China for the 'Chop-Chop 2.0 Beef' campaign for Ammeloo
  • Hakuhodo Malaysia for the 'Drought' campaign for Greenpeace
  • Prakit Advertising, Bangkok for the 'Genocide' campaign for Staedtler
  • Cheil Hong Kong for the 'Block out the Chaos: Football Managers' and 'Block out the Chaos: Wolrd Leaders' series for BL
  • Havas Shanghai for the 'Shakespeare' and 'Einstein' campaigns for Getty Images
  • TBWA\Thailand for the 'Morning Shift', 'Rooftop Soccer', 'The Meeting', 'Designer', 'Graffiti' series for McDonald's
