Industrial giant hands media to Zenith

KUALA LUMPUR - Zenith Media has won the media planning and buying business for the Malaysian conglomerate United Motor Works (UMW).

The Publicis Groupe media agency saw off Mediaedge:cia and Initiative to win the business, which will involve rebranding the RM9.9 billion (US$2.9 billion) engines-to-oil giant. Zenith will work alongside brand agencies Turquoise and Lippen Court to reposition the company, which uses the "Expect great things" slogan.

UMW Group reported a 71 per cent profits jump, to RM107 million, in the second quarter of this year.
