Indonesian insurance brand Sequis Life appoints Y&R as its creative AOR

JAKARTA - Indonesian insurance brand, PT Asuransi Jiwa Sequislife (Sequis Life), has handed its creative business to Y&R following a five-way pitch.

Y&R won the business after three rounds of pitching. The pitch is believed to have been initiated in December last year. The incumbent on the account is believed to be a local shop .

Vishal Mehta, CEO of Y&R Indonesia, called Sequis Life
"a progressive brand " and said that his agency is looking forward to partnering with them and creating work it can be proud of.

Sequis Life was first founded in 1984 as Universal Life Indo (ULINDO). In 1992, a joint venture was set up with New York Life International, bringing best practice to the life insurance industry until May 2003.

After growing a corporate identity, Sequis Life has become one of the leading and prominent life insurance companies in Indonesia. Until now the company has protected 150,000 policy holders, supported by more than 3,500 agents, 600 employees, and 82 branches in 29 cities throughout Indonesia.
