INDIA HEADLINES: Reliance Infocomm set to launch prepaid services
Reliance Infocomm has launched a prepaid mobile service. Its post-paid CDMA mobile services, marketed under the Reliance IndiaMobile brand, has swept the mobile telephony market, signing on six million customers in a year. With almost a 25 per cent market share, it is expected that prepaid services - which account for 70 per cent of the cellular service market and growing faster than post-paid services - will add on another 10 million customers by May.
