Both Sohrabji, who manages the agency's planning, and Shriyan, who handles the buying operations, have been with the agency since 1990. Under Shriyan's leadership, MediaCom became the first agency to buy slots and market Hindi feature films and soaps on Doordarshan National Network. Meanwhile, Sohrabji was behind Teleosmosis, a tool which aims to "resolve imbalances in TV weights among light viewers" in India. She worked with Grey in Indonesia and the US, in addition to her South Asia responsibilities as media director on Procter & Gamble from 2000 to 2002.

SOUTH ASIA: Grey Global Group has promoted MediaCom senior vice-presidents Jasmin Sohrabji and Harish Shriyan to presidents for South Asia, covering the India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka markets.
