InComm Brodeur handed Neowave corporate PR task

SEOUL:InComm Brodeur has secured a year-long retainer to handle corporate and product PR for Korean network developer Neowave. The Korean arm of Brodeur Worldwide won the account without a competitive pitch.

Neowave is listed on the KOSDAQ and is also expected to utilise InComm Brodeur for investor relations, in addition to consulting on positioning and messaging for its range of high-speed networking products.

The InComm Brodeur team will be headed by vice-president Steve Park, along with account director Kamila Cho and Hannah Shin.

Neowave's product portfolio includes residential ethernet access, internet access multiplexers and fibre optic access.

In particular, the company is seen as a key player, given the expected demand for 3G infrastructure. Its only venture capital competitors in this sector are Samsung and Hyundai.
