Incentives options

From gala dinner venues to teambuilding activities to corporate outings, Pattaya offers some unexpected choices.

BEST FOR… GALA DINNERS
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden
Meeting planners looking for an eco-friendly retreat for meetings, functions and gala dinners can choose the popular Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and its lakeside seminar building, Nantha Hall.

The venue can accommodate up to 300 for meetings or banquets, and the surrounding botanical gardens are available for Thai cultural shows and recreation programmes.

Nong Nooch’s 20 gardens welcome 2,000 visitors a day and feature Thailand’s largest variety of orchids, more than 200 types of ferns, hand-trimmed topiary shrubs, a Stonehenge replica, butterfly house and a mini zoo.

BEST FOR… CORPORATE OUTINGS
Three Kingdoms Theme Park
Built by the six children of a successful Chinese-Thai businessman, this park highlights various aspects of Buddhism, Thai and Chinese culture and philosophy. It’s an ideal day out for corporate groups. The park recreates the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a 600-year-old literary classic about the fall of the Han Dynasty. Its artistic renditions and architectural replicas
dramatically present the entire 106-scene tale in the world’s longest tile mural at 224 metres.

Pattaya Exhibition & Convention Hall (PEACH)
PEACH offers convention organisers a flexible 5,000 sqm pillarless hall, divisible into three, that can handle 5,800-delegate conventions. Nine additional breakout rooms can be configured for 25 to 100-person meetings. Set in the grounds of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, earlier this year PEACH embarked on a US$8 million expansion this to boost capacity to 8,000 people.

Peach has recently hosted several highprofile events, with more booked for later this year. Last year’s Pacific Asia Travel Association’s Annual Conference attracted 1,141 delegates and was followed by the 67th Skål World Congress, which drew more than 1,000 participants.

The 46th ICCA Congress & Exhibition selected Peach for its event late last month, which welcomed more than 700 delegates from around the world.
