Impact offers analysis potential

Impact Research and Measurement, a new media monitoring and analysis company, has launched, offering corporate communication professionals across India the opportunity to monitor and analyse the impact of their public relations programmes.

Headed by COO Lakshmi Kanchan, Impact already has a client list of more than 70 companies in 18 industries, in collaboration with Press Index of France, an international web-based media monitoring company. The service will include electronic media clippings being delivered directly to clients. Meanwhile, 'MyImpact' will allow users to collate data into an online library, which can then be evaluated and measured using easy download options. The information will be "accessible anytime and anywhere in the world through email alerts and a secure web portal. This enables swift, insight-based decision making," said Ashwani Singla, director, Impact Research and Measurement . Impact has coverage of 18 English language general and business publications, regional dailies and magazines across all categories, from six major Indian cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
