Impact bags Pernod Ricard

HONG KONG - Pernod Ricard Hong Kong has engaged travel and lifestyle-focused PR agency Impact Asia as its first public relations agency in Hong Kong.

There was no pitch. 

Impact Asia will embark on a series of media and promotional activities for a Perrier-Jouët product launch and an Absolut Vodka packaging launch in April, as well as work for various brands under the Pernod Ricard flag, including Martell cognac, Mumm champagne, Royal Salute and Glenlivet whiskies, Wyborowa Wodka, Jacob's Creek, Wyndham Estate and Montana Wines.

“The client’s F&B selections are geared towards the high end, focusing on a middle-class clientele, particularly independent career women with high disposable income and discerning taste,” said Jeremy Cheung, managing director of Impact Asia HK.

Impact Asia worked on Moët Hennessy Diageo’s Baileys account in 2008 and helped Pernod Ricard with a successful Martell product launch in Paris last October, as well as a Perrier-Jouët champagne launch in Hong Kong last November.
