IMEX works with partners to aid cultural clarity

FRANKFURT IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events, is sponsoring the first Culture Active Tool for the meetings industry.

Developed by Richard Lewis Communications, the Culture Active Tool is a web-based, stand alone cross-cultural analysis and briefing tool. It has two modules: Personal Cultural Profiles (PCPs) enables individual classification and characteristics by completing a cultural questionnaire online. National Cultural Profiles provide cultural roadmaps to approximately 70 countries, which enable users to compare specific behaviours in one culture with those of another. IMEX has joined with the MPI (Meeting Professionals International) Foundation, MPI Foundation Europe, MPI Foundation Canada and MCI — to support this initiative.
