Imagination snares Events 360

HONG KONG Events boutique Events 360 has been acquired by UK-based private events independent The Imagination Group in a bid to grow the group's marketshare in Asia. Numbering boutique operations in London, Sweden, Germany and the US, Imagination Group managing director Paul McKay told CEI Asia Pacific that the needs of existing European and American clients in this region had spurred the decision to expand. "One of Imagination's reasons for expansion in Asia is to further support European and North American clients in the region. We also expect to be helping companies from the region, in particular the Mainland, to present themselves in Europe and North America where Imagination has a strong track record." Formed in 2000, Events 360 has built its reputation on financial investor conferences, telecom and technology product launches, automotive launches, and corporate senior partner conferences. Imagination is perceived to be bringing broader creative expertise to the table beyond these sectors. Currently, co-founders Geraldine Walsh and Karen Arndt head a team of eight in Hong Kong, and will continue to head the firm during and after the expansion phase. "We expect to have smaller representative offices in both Singapore and Shanghai in the future," McKay said.
