Eaton was previously with the agency in London for five years, primarily working on the Unilever assignment.
"This means he can instantly bring added value to our business here. Unilever looks to IM to leverage our network when we service their business and this is a classic example of IM cross fertilising offices to their benefit," said James Gover, managing director of IM Japan.
"Eaton's brief is to improve the quality of strategic planning on Nippon Lever and to work closely with Hakuhodo:Lintas (a joint- venture between Lowe & Partners and Hakuhodo) to ensure implementation is in line with agreed planning," added Gover.
