Ikea taps WPP shops for global media brief
Ikea has awarded its global media account covering 23 markets to WPP's MEC (55 per cent) and MediaCom (45 per cent). The brand previously used 14 different agencies in different markets. MEC has increased its coverage of five to 14 accounts while also retaining the lucrative China business. The assignment follows a four-month review process that began in February of this year.
