Idenburg joined Suntec Singapore in 2005 as its senior director of business operations.
His contributions propelled him to the position of chief operating officer in early 2007
with enhanced responsibilities.
His tenure at Suntec Singapore has seen him lead the complex Suntec Singapore venue operations for the the IMF World Bank Annual Meetings in 2006.
Idenburg said: “It is an exciting time for the MICE industry in Singapore and I am honoured
to lead the team at Suntec Singapore to the next phase of development.”
Idenburg replaces Warren Buckley, who has returned to his hometown Vancouver,
Canada, after being with Suntec Singapore since 2001.

SINGAPORE Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre has appointed Pieter Idenburg to the position of chief executive officer.
