Global banking giant HSBC, Cathay Pacific and supermarket chain Park n' Shop were judged the most successful brands alongside Singapore Airlines and mainland telecoms operator China Mobile. The Asia Market Intelligence survey of Asia's leading brand exports also found HSBC to be a "visionary".
Commenting on HSBC's performance, its marketing head for personal financial services, Louisa Cheang, said: "This is not something that can happen over a short period. It has to be a long-term effort."
