HSBC inks affiliate deal with dgm

SINGAPORE - HSBC has signed a deal to be incorporated into digital marketing group dgm's affiliate marketing network throughout Southeast Asia.

The network, which launched in June, aims to draw web traffic by linking online publishers with brands and is based on a cost-per-action (CPA) payment model.

HSBC is one of the first brands to joing dgm's Southeast Asia network. Apple has also signed up.

"The CPA model is proving very appealing to the advanced brands online who are looking to supplement their existing digital initiatives," said James Hawkins, group head of search at dgm. "We see this as the first signs the region is waking up to affiliate marketing and the lures of CPA advertising."
