HPB pitches US$3.5 million account

SINGAPORE - Singapore's Health Promotion Board (HPB) has issued an open tender for its estimated S$5 million (US$3.5 million) advertising account.

Agencies including incumbent DDB Singapore will today (Thursday January 3rd) make initial presentations for the business, which includes events, activation and digital as well as above-the-line advertising across the government body's range of health categories.

DDB was awarded the HPB's HIV\AIDS and anti-smoking briefs after a multi-agency pitch in April 2007. The Omnicom agency is HPB's retained agency of record, however the government body pitches various projects every year.

HPB was a finalist for Advertiser of the Year at the 2007 Hall of Fame Awards.
