HP reviews global imaging and printing creative

GLOBAL - Consumer electronics giant HP is believed to be reviewing global creative distribution of its imaging and printing group (IPG), in a move that looks set to benefit Omnicom agency BBDO, at the expense of incumbent Publicis Worldwide.

At present global creative strategy is led by BBDO’s sister Omnicom agency Goodby Silverstein & Partners, with Publicis in charge of local market distribution.

At the same time, the IPG division is pitching its EMEA below-the-line brief, currently handled by Publicis Dialog.

Publicis has worked on the IPG business since 1996.
