HP kickstarts global PR review

PALO ALTO - HP is conducting a major review of its worldwide PR operations, inviting a slew of agencies to respond to its 30-page RFP document.

Currently handled primarily by Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton in Asia-Pacific, the tech giant is looking for agencies to handle the full range of PR and communications services across its three product business units, along with its networks division and corporate marketing function.

The review covers the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Japan, and EMEA, and comes four years after HP consolidated its global PR business under Burson, H&K and Porter Novelli.
