Howell, the former CEO of Euro RSCG Thailand - an agency he ran for 14 years - takes over on 17 April. He returns to the industry after two years spent lecturing on a MBA course at a Thai university.
In a letter to clients, Kim Walker, president and CEO of M&C Saatchi Asia, wrote: “We now feel it is time to strengthen the management team and take another big step forward with the appointment of a new managing director.”
M&C Saatchi launched its Thai office in September 2005 after acquiring Spalding & Co.
