More than 2,500 designers, architects, owners, developers, manufacturers, facility managers
and other hospitality professionals from Asia
Pacific and around the world are expected to
attend the conference on June 28-29.
HD Asia has attracted major speakers including
the world-renowned architect and interior designer
Tony Chi.
Chi's cutting-edge style is showcased in iconic
designs such as The Residence, Bangkok's first
residential-style, multifunction event facility at
the Grand Hyatt Erawan, and SPOON by Alain
Ducasse at InterContinental Hong Kong.
Other confirmed speakers include John Miller,
director of design and development, Peninsula
Hotels; Byron Wong,
group design manager, Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Group; and Jean-Michel Gathy, principal, Denniston
International.
Discussion topics will include 'Common Design
Errors in Hotels'; 'Hospitality Design Asia Forum';
and 'Energy Matters: Designing to Conserve
and Sustain Resources'. Michelle Finn, Vicepresident, VNU Expositions and event
