Hong Kong's first Red Bull Soapbox Race showcases flair, creativity and exhibitionism

Over 35,000 spectators gathered at To Shek Street in Sha Tin on 14 October to watch Hong Kong's first Red Bull Soapbox Race, billed as the city's craziest day out. Speed junkies, party-goers, friends and families watched 44 teams dressed in outrageous 'Soapbox cars' and costumes, as the man-powered soapboxes made their way down the twisting and bumpy track.
