The venue offers event planners 70,000 sqm of exhibition space. After strong results, plans
are underway to add another 30,000 sqm of rentable space. The phase-two development
will involve adding a column-free exhibition hall along with additional meeting and conference space, plus all the required supporting facilities.
Distance from airport: It is a three-minute journey on the Airport Express train, which is directly connected to the venue.
Closest hotels: With 1,103 rooms, the Regal Airport Hotel is the largest in Hong Kong and only five minutes away. The hotel recently invested US$1.7 million in its conference facilities. It now has 31 function rooms. The Novotel Citygate Hong Kong has 440 rooms and is a five-minute taxi ride from the airport.
Recent clients: Past events include ITU World Telecoms 2007. In October the venue will host Messe Frankfurt’s second Eco Expo Asia, an international trade fair on environmental protection that is expecting 8,000 visitors. The first Sports Source Asia also comes to AsiaWorld-Expo in October.

HONG KONG CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE (HKCEC)
To accommodate the demand for more event space, HKCEC began an expansion project
last July that is scheduled for completion by early 2009. The project will add 19,400 sqm of
exhibition space and bring the total function space to 90,000 sqm.
Distance from airport:HKCEC is a 22-minute journey via the Airport Express train and
then a ten-minute taxi ride.
Closest hotels: The 549-room Grand Hyatt hotel is right next door to HKCEC and overlooks Victoria Harbour. Or, the Four Seasons is a ten-minute journey by taxi.
Recent clients: Rail Solutions Asia, GTI Asia Expo and Senior Lifestyle Asia have all
confirmed new trade-show launches at HKCEC in 2007. The Food Expo 2007 also takes place here in August.
