Hong Kong Disneyland | Alien Invasion | Hong Kong

Disneyland Hong Kong is going into its third year of celebrating Halloween, determined to welcome the forces of darkness with an alien invasion of the amusement park.

Going on air tonight, Disney has hired Hollywood horror director Jim Sonzero to produce two teaser ads and one major television commercial. The ad starts off with two teenagers waking up in a spaceship. Little do they know that the dark forces have already engulfed their bodies when they escape from the abduction.

“The production team also amplified the sense of horror by leveraging advanced computer graphics during the post-production stage. We are confident that the TV commercial is going to appeal to Hong Kong people,” said Frederick Chan, director of marketing for Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland has extended its Halloween carnival this year, with the event running from 18 September to 31 October. Besides the previously opened Main Street Haunted Hotel and Demon Jungle, Alien Invasion is the third addition to this year’s attraction line-up.
