Hong Kong Cancer Fund | Prostate Cancer Campaign | Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Cancer Fund is generating awareness of prostate cancer among men over fifty.

Developed by DDB, the ad reads, ‘don’t let dad spend his life in a toilet’. As the fourth most common cancer for men in Hong Kong, the disease causes progressive discomfort in the urethra. However, people tend to disregard the signs until the problem is too late. The campaign features famous Hong Kong actor Lam Suet.

The campaign purposely launched close to Father’s Day to generate more buzz among families. “Given the increase and prevalence of prostate cancer in Hong Kong, we strongly believe in the importance of this campaign, and were eager to offer pro-bono support to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund,” said Jasmine Tsang, account director at Carat Hong Kong.
