Hong Kong aTV partners with Fox International Channels for BabyTV

HONG KONG - Fox International Channels (FIC) is partnering with Asia Television Limited (aTV) to air a half-hour segment of Baby TV every weekday in Hong Kong.

Baby TV is a 24 hour, commercial-free channel under FIC through nowTV. It is endorsed by the Hong Kong Education Bureau for infants, toddlers and parents.

"We are delighted to team up with Fox International Channels to add another dimension to our English-language programming line-up," said Gilbert Au, assistant controller of public relations and publciity at aTV.

The decision follows a survey by Fox claiming 90 per cent of parents uses screen media to educate and entertain young children. Baby TV is most popular among kids aged three and under.

Rajesh Sheshadri, territory head of Hong Kong at FIC, added that the parternship gives "an opportunity to extend the rich Baby TV content to thousands of Hong Kong homes which otherwise would not have access to this incredible resource for parents."
