Loyalty proved captivating and memorable for Nissin Foods, while P&G scored a seven-hit run. Animated characters Ching Chai and Ching Mui, who tapped Hong Kongers' nostalgia, helped Japanese brand Nissin Foods score with two commercials promoting its Demae Ramen noodles. Nissin Foods marketing manager Phoebe Chong said the two spots differed from previous campaigns as they were not so much product- as image-driven.
