Honda named Cannes 2007 Advertiser of the Year

LONDON - Honda has been honoured with the Cannes 2007 Advertiser of the Year award, in recognition of the brand's creative and innovative advertising.

The Honda work, which has landed several Lions across different media, includes Choir and Impossible Dream (Gold Lions in 2006), Grrr (Film Grand Prix and Titanium Lion 2005) and Cog (Gold Lion 2003).

Ken Keir, senior vice-president of Honda Motor Europe said: “through our agencies and a great marketing team we changed our advertising direction five yeas ago. From that point our success has been the result of a consistent, honest approach.”
