Holcim appoints Leo Burnett in Indonesia

JAKARTA - Global cement maker Holcim has awarded its estimated US$6 million Indonesian creative account to Leo Burnett Kreasindo after a four-way final-round shoot-out.

The result draws to a close a two-month review that began with a pitch list involving 10 agencies (Media, 28 May). Leo Burnett edged out McCann Erickson, local shop AdCity and Y&R, the incumbent, in the final phase.

The company had been searching for "a strategic communications partner for the next three years", said Sebby Intan, Holcim Indonesia's group marketing and branding manager.
