HKTB targets movie buffs with romance

TAIPEI - The Hong Kong Tourism Board has launched a drive in conjuction with the new Ang Lee film Lust, Caution, aimed at attracting visitors from Taiwan.

The movie was partly shot in Hong Kong; the campaign’s tagline is ‘wander around Hong Kong with lust for the nostalgic and contemporary’.

“We are promoting Hong Kong as a romantic destination and highlighting its nostalgic charm,” said a HKTB spokesperson. The campaign was created in-house, and follows speculation  that HKTB is set to review its creative account in early 2008.
