The announcement follows HKCEC’s recent win in the CEI Asia 2008 Industry Awards
where it was voted Asia’s Best Convention/Exhibition Centre.
The new exhibitions are International Homebuyer and Property Investor ’08, ART HK
08, TETRA World Congress 2008, Asia Fruit Logistica + Asiafruit Congress, Hong Kong
International Arts & Antiques Fair (HKIAAF) 2008, AMAZIA, and InfoCommAsia 2008.
Franz Caduc, director of AMAZIA, said: “For the past two years, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre has been the venue of Reed MIDEM’s MIPIM Asia international property
trade show.
“The excellent facilities and services provided by HKCEC have encouraged us to launch
AMAZIA there in November. “AMAZIA will be a unique trade show and conference
serving professionals in the entertainment industry.”
Magnus Renfrew, fair director of ART HK 08, said: “As the thirdlargest art market in the world by
auction turnover and with no tax on the import and export of art, Hong Kong is the perfect
location for us to launch ART HK 08. We are very proud to be holding our Fair at HKCEC.

HKCEC announcements reveal good health of local exhibition industry
