HK sports title gears up for launch
Advertisers in Hong Kong will soon have access to a new glossy sports title, SportTView, which its publisher claims will be the largest subscription-based consumer magazine in the city, with circulation surpassing 200,000 subs.

The magazine will be delivered to select subscribers of Hong Kong's Now Broadband TV's sports channels, following a deal inked with the TV station, as well as go on sale in bookstores and newsstands at HK$20 (US$2.50). "There are a few other popular magazines that have, perhaps, a similar sized circulation," said group publisher, John Hirsch (pictured). "But of all of those are strictly newsstand sales with little verification of readership."

Each issue will be published in separate English and Chinese language editions by SportsWeek, which provides bilingual sports updates on Hong Kong's Sunday mobile network.
