H&K invests in CSR platform for region

ASIA-PACIFIC - Hill & Knowlton Asia-Pacific is moving to enhance its corporate practice, launching a specialised CSR 2.0 platform which focuses on improving its corporate social responsibility.

Led by Glenn Schloss, regional director of corporate communications, Hill & Knowlton Asia-Pacific, the  initiative draws on key areas, with an emphasis to leverage the Web 2.0 or social networking phenomena.

“Consumers are much more concerned about the impact that corporations have on their own lives, how products affect their health, the environment, and how society is affected,” said Schloss.

“There’s a greater dialogue now between brands and consumers and it’s happening online. At the same time, stakeholders are becoming more aggressive and demanding, and companies need to be more proactive in their strategies and dealing with stakeholders.”

A training initiative is expected to launch next month.
