HK Government website up for pitch

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Government is said to have issued a tender to revamp its gov.hk website.

The invitation-only tender involves the redesign and strategic branding of the site. 

A separate brief is taking place for the technical implementation of the Government website.

The number of agencies involved in the pitch has not been confirmed but those reportedly invited include OgilvyOne, MRM, wwwins Consulting, and e-Crusade.

The Government is currently managing the site internally.

The account is believed to be worth HK$1 million (US$129,000).
