HK freight airline hires TAG to work on Singapore job

The Advocate Group (TAG) has been appointed by Air Hong Kong as its Singapore PR agency.

The appointment stems from TAG's long relationship with Cathay Pacific in Singapore, with Air Hong Kong being a partnership between the Hong Kong airline and DHL Express.

The partnership was established to develop the express freight network in Asia serving Bangkok, Penang, Singapore, Taipei, Narita, Kansai and Incheon.

"TAG, as Air Hong Kong's agency in Singapore, is primarily tasked with providing counsel and publicity management support for issues management," said TAG managing partner Gus Low. "This includes setting up a crisis communications network that is operationally ready, something that is crucial to all airlines, whether they be full-fledged commuter airlines or freighter airlines."

The appointment follows TAG's publicity management initiative for Cathay Pacific's Skyview Lounge at Changi Airport, launched last month.

It also comes as TAG founder and CEO Famie Reis departs TAG for the role of channel vice-president of Suria at MediaCorp TV 12. Low will now helm the agency as managing partner.
